I’ve heard of German scheiss videos, but never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I’d get one from Greencine marked horror. As soon as I hit "play" on the DVD player, it was immediately apparent that the dubbing is horrendous, words don’t even begin to match the mouth movements and the audio sounds like it was recorded in a small tile bathroom. On top of that the voice acting was by far the worst I’ve ever heard.

There really is no plot to speak of other than some guys on a boat suddenly end up tied up to posts to watch “The Meister’s” troops behead, and tear a few people apart with hooks. No reason as to why they’re there, how they got caught, nothing. After the brutal executions are completed, the guys are released and told they are going to be hunted by the zombie army.

Zombie army, sounds cool huh? Not quite, the army is really nothing more than a bunch of militia type guys in REALLY bad homemade tin masks, hell it may have even been silver poster board, but regardless of what it was made out of, it was bad.

Plenty of gore throughout, some of it was amusing, not at all shocking as you would expect from a movie that was originally released as Violent Shit III. There’s some Hellraiser style flesh tearing with hooks, lots of beheadings, eviscerations, dismemberments, an anal removal of some dudes spine. The most horrific scene? Two German chicks with hairy armpits and stretch marks are disrobed and killed. Absolutely horrific.

I don’t think there’s a redeeming value to Zombie Doom and it has actually been a while since I’ve seen a movie this bad. Save your time and money, and avoid at all costs.
