This
woman has just cut, chopped, broken and burned five men beyond

This
charming tale is set in a deep South countryside, as a young,
elegant, northen lady heads South for some rest and relaxation...
bullshit. Break it down Prime (Say it outloud you bastards). Here
is the smackdown folks.
Hot babe goes out in the country gets out to pump some gas, she
gets looked over by the inbreed posse as she stretches her fine
ass legs. She heads off to her little cozy cabin goes for a nice
little boat ride, goes to sleep and drifts off into Cornhole County.
She wakes up goes for a stroll in the woods and happens upon members
of the above inbreed posse.
Penetration and other nasty acts occur. Left for the alligators
our lady makes it to her feet and heads off trying to find her
way back home, but guess what? She runs into her friends once
again, this time by a scenic rock, can you guess what? Sloppy
seconds for everyone. Now near death she finally wanders home
in the middle of the night, only to open her door to... hold it...
can ya guess? BOO YAH another round of stuff the taco with the
inbreed posse.
Whew I'm tired are you? Anyway after all this our lady takes
some time to heal and get her head straight, then it's payback
time city style. Watch as each of the inbreed posse is hacked
apart in each of their justly deserving ways. My favorite scene
occurs in a bathtub with the line "That feels so good it
hurts," hell yeah. Just like watching this movie.
There is some truly decent gore scenes and this one, plus it can
double as low quality porn, something I feel horror should do
anyway. But this is a good one and a great revenge flick and could
almost be argued as a masterpiece, but definately a classic.
8/10

Both
reviled and embraced, this flick is one of a kind. I'd have
to count it as one of the most disturbing movies ever made, the
rape scenes aren't just graphic, they're unbelievably
long and painful to watch. Although it wasn't the rapes that
pulled me in, it was Jennifer crawling. After she's raped,
she's trying to crawl away, crying, muddy and bloody, she's
absolutely pitiful and at that moment I began to feel her horror.
The scene was placed perfectly, because that's just the first
rape scene, there was two more Jennifer and I had to endure, each
more brutal than the last.
One of the things that give the movie such a disturbing power
is the lack of a score. We don't hear anything but grunting,
crying and screaming. We're spared nothing, just like the
main character.
There are lots of rape/revenge movies, both horror and otherwise.
None of them reach the power and magnificent ugliness of this
one. It's truly an ordeal.

Having
watched this movie a bunch of times I decided to watch it this
time with the Joe Bob Briggs commentary on. I'm so glad I
did. JBB is funny, we all know that, but he also knows his stuff.
For instance, the town of Kent, Connecticut where they filmed
this movie was also where they filmed Friday the 13th part
2. Not the best town to visit.
When this movie came out it was vilified by many critics as over
the top violent and disturbing with no redeeming qualities. Also
that it’s very much against women and pro-male. All I have to
say to that is, did the critics watch the same movie I did? I
think this movie is very pro women and Joe Bob agrees with me.
Or I should say I agree with him. His arguments during the movie
for the horror fan end of the spectrum are very convincing and
intelligent, not that I needed convincing.
This is a good movie. Camille Keaton is awesome in her role as
both victim and vigilante. The complete lack of score is brilliant
in really bringing the grittiness of the whole thing to the front.
The writer/director wrote this movie after seeing a woman right
after she was brutally gang raped. His first hand knowledge really
shows here. My only complaint is the length of unnecessary scenes,
such as showing someone walking across a field taking minutes
instead of seconds.
8 out of 10 women in a boat with a raised axe looking super badass.
