Gargoli, is the rich and powerful matriarch of the Gargoli family,
she is also hated and despised by all of her family except for
her grand daughter Kelly, who is the only member of the family
who stays and takes care of Grandma. Full of piss and vinegar,
Granny invites her family over for Thanksgiving dinner, the family
however has other things in mind for Granny: killing her and getting
their inheritance. Unfortunately for them, Granny has just taken
a magical potion that is supposed to keep her alive forever. But
Granny didn't follow the directions right and there is a
lot of sick shit about to go down.
This one is out there and at times, truly vile.
First the movie opens with an exorcism set in medieval times which
involves a father and daughter. I should have known what was coming
when in this opening sequence the daughter wraps her legs around
the fathers head holds him a leg lock and screams "Lick me,
lick me down there, I have no teeth down there!". While this
is going on music that sounds like something from a Pee Wee Herman
movie is playing in the background and continues throughout the
entire film.
Cut to present day and Granny has just gotten the magic potion
dubbed the "Qui Chon" from a priest, they don't
really say how she found out about it, but the priest was also
at the exorcism at the beginning. Before Granny takes the potion
the priest gives her three rules:
1. The elixir must never be touched by sunlight.
2. Make peace with your family through a cleansing ritual.
3. After taking the potion you must stay out of the sunlight.
Well this all goes to shit right off the bat. If you do all of
the above you turn into an angel of some kind with eternal life.
If ya fuck it up ya turn into a demon, and since this is a horror
film, I'm sure you can guess what happens.
After going through an extreme version of belated menopause Granny
turns into a cackling geriatric demon from hell and begins to
wipe out members of her family that include her two sons, their
wives and her grandchildren, all except the loving Kelly played
by the ample-chested Shannon Whirry.
From this point on the blood and guts flow freely and in ample
supply. All kills are gruesome and gory. We also get to see every
female character's breasts including Granny's. As much
as I am a fan of boobs and blood this film takes it a step too
far and made me wince, here we go.
In a scene that I could not look away from one of Granny's
sons "David" is about to bump uglies with his own sexpot
of a niece who is incredible hot. But in order to teach them both
a lesson Granny possess her niece. She uses the niece's body
but adds her head. Now at this point the sun looks up to see his
mother holding his severed penis in her hands. As he begins to
scream Granny throws the lopped off cock on the floor and cuts
off her son's head with a pair of scissors. At this point
we cut out to the hallway to see Kelly looking in. At this point
I thought "Wow that was pretty odd." But I was wrong,
way wrong. When the camera pans back into the bedroom Granny is
still straddling her now decapitated son, she is also sucking
on his severed cock stump with such a furious fever, that it put
Linda Lovelace to shame. While this is going on the stump continuously
shoots load after load of blood into Granny's mouth, on the
sheets, and the walls.
At this point I had to go upstairs and take a shower, because
I felt dirty… no filthy. And this is coming from a guy who owns
the first three chapters of Taboo on VHS and for those of you
who don't know what that is, GOOD. My dirty little secret
is safe awhile longer.
I pray they never make a sequel to this one, because if they do
I will be forced to watch it. This one is vile, bloody and hardcore,
go and rent it with this warning but you won’t be disappointed.
The film is written and directed by Luca Bercovici who also plays
the priest Namon Ami. I don't know whether it was his childhood
or his fantasy but this one is dark and full of incest. They also
use the word "Bitch" about three thousand times. This
one is a true shock value of a film.
