Felissa is best known as Angela from the original Sleepaway Camp, but has appeared in many other films as well. She was at the convention this year and looked incredible. She also has just had her first child a little girl named Bianca, who was there with her mom attending her first convention at only ten weeks of age.

This whole interaction began when Felissa overheard me asking The Horrorist a question on Friday.

Jareprime: Hey man there is Felissa Rose.
The Horrorist: Who?

JP: Angela, the chick from Sleepaway Camp.
H: Oh.
JP: I wonder if she still has the penis prop?

At this point Felissa must have heard us and chimed in.

Felissa: Did you ask if I still had the penis?
JP: Yeah.
FR: Yeah I still have it and my husband loves it!
JP: Sorry didn’t mean to offend there.
FP: No you didn’t, it’s a decent question.

JP: Did you know the ending of the movie before hand?
FR: Yes, me and my mom both did. We had to do to my age at the time and the nudity, I was only thirteen.
JP: I guess you would need some permission then.
FR: Yeah.

JP: I love that scene, it’s just creepy and that laugh and your eyes are great! One of the best images of horror ever, in my opinion.
FR: Thank you. Very nice of you to say.
JP: I also think the film itself is underrated and under appreciated.
FR: Yes me too, Sleepaway Camp is a good film and I’m not saying that just because I was in it.

JP: How’s come you were not in any of the sequels?

FR: Well the truth is I was getting ready to go to college. If I would have done the movies it would have messed up my chance at school, so I thought about my future. But I will be in part five.

JP: Five? They never finished four.

FR: They probably won’t either, Sleepaway Camp V: Return To Sleepaway Camp will get a theatrical release, either this September or October.
JP: Who are you gonna be? Angela?
FR: I won’t say, but it will be a surprise.
JP: C’mon this would be a Horror Watch exclusive, can you give me a hint?
FR: Nope you gotta wait and see.
JP: OK, I will, looks like I’m holding up your line, talk to you later.
FR: I look forward to it.

Sunday there was a great looking and explicit doll sitting on Felissa’s desk that was a figure of her as Angela from the first movie.

JP: Hello. Hey is that an actual doll?
FR: No, a fan gave this to me a while ago, isn’t it great?
JP: Yeah, the detail is amazing can I take a picture?
FR: By all means, this is going on my mantle as soon as I get home.
JP: See all the great stuff you get for being in a great horror movie.
FR: I also met my husband, he was a fan and we met and the rest is history.
Felissa is married to Deron Miller from the band CKY

JP: I got to ride in the elevator with your mom and Bianca last night, she was a pretty tired baby.
FR: Yeah, the convention schedule is pretty tough on her.

JP: Do you like the convention scene?
FR: Yes, you get to meet people who like your work and it’s really fun meeting all the fans from around the country. Like you.
JP: Aw, you’re so sweet, can I get a pic with you?
FR: Definitely, come on over here ya lug.
